Are we allowed to bring our children?
While we would love to celebrate with all ages, we ask that our wedding be for adults only. We appreciate your understanding.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes!
Do we have to dress in black-tie?
No! We understand black-tie is not convenient for everyone. We’d love for everyone to dress in their finest. If you do not wish to wear black-tie, please opt for formal attire.
Our goal is to create a beautiful atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable and looks their best. Whether you choose a classic gown, a tailored suit, or elegant separates, we believe your personal style will shine through. Just remember to keep it polished and refined, and you'll fit right in with the spirit of the occasion.
Will there be a gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?
Yes, there will be a 1 hour gap for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in the garden.
What time will the wedding reception end?
11pm
Are we allowed to take pictures at your wedding?
Absolutely! We just ask that you silence your phones during the ceremony.
What type of food will be served at the wedding?
We'll be serving several different hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entree. Please visit the "Menu" section of our website for more details.
Where do we park?
We will have a complimentary valet service at the entrance of the home.
What are men supposed to wear?
A tuxedo isn't required, but it can still be worn, if preferred. If men do opt for a suit, it's best to wear a formal dark suit, white shirt, and a conservative tie.
We ask that men do not wear gym shoes, jeans, or khakis.
What is black-tie optional?
As the wording suggests, black-tie optional is a wedding guest dress code that's slightly less formal than black-tie wedding attire.
There are plenty of examples on black tie/formal attire for wedding guests with a quick Google search.
What should women wear?
If you are opting for black-tie attire, an elegant floor-length dress is perfect. We ask that women do not wear white, off-white, or ivory. Please feel free to wear bright colors or patterned dresses! For formal attire, consider midi or floor-length dresses, formal pant suits, formal jumpsuits, or knee-length dresses.
Will I have to wear my heels or dress shoes on the dance floor?
No! We will have a basket of slippers for our enthusiastic dancers. No one wants to wear uncomfortable shoes all night!
